TITLES
Job Titles:
• They should be capitalized if they are before a person's name, but they are lowercase after a person's name.
Film, Book, and Song Titles:
•These are capitalized and placed in quotation marks.
Reference Books, Newspaper, and Magazine:
• They should not have quotation marks.
MLA STYLE
Titles in Text, Parenthetical citations, and Works Cited Pages
• A title appears in the same page no matter where in a document it appears.
• No titles are underlined.
• No titles get quotation marks and italics.
Titles of short works go in quotation marks and titles of long works are italicized.
Capitalize the the forts letter of major words of titles. Articles, preposition, and coordinating conjunctions, aren't capitalized unless they are the first word of a title.
